alrite people just adding some videos that is in the style that we r doing our music video in. and also to tell you all about the progress that we made in todays lesson.

So today in media we just basically brainstormed ideas and discussed them(shall we say passionately?). in this process we toyed with ideas of what will actually happen in our video instead of just how it will be shot and we talked about a murder etc but then after asking for advice from Mrs. Bannon we realised that it was kind of cliched and a lot of the groups work has murder in it. we also thought about telling the story backwards but after discussing it we thought it wouldnt be as effective as 1st thought and it would be simpler to tell the story going forwards.
so all in all we still need ideas for what can actually happen in the video, so please give us some suggestions, we're not desparate...much!!

Ideas!!!
Right I have some ideas for a music video. I have been looking on a website for ideas and watching the music channels for some inspiration. The website i hav been looking on is:

Basically its there opinion of the top 100 music videos and has all of the videos on the site for u to watch.
Other Videos which gave us ideas:
Brand New: Sic Transit Gloria... Glory Fades
The Verve: Bittersweet Symphony
Inme: I Wont Let Go
So our first thoughts have been basically to to have a close up of someone about to play the song on there ipod, and then its a point of view shot of him walking down the street and basically events unfold when he is walking. we will try and make it look like one shot, but if that doesnt work we will hav to hav different types of shots to add it all together. The Verve video really is the influence but the idea, of someone controlling everyone is a pretty cool idea as well. the inme video shows again somebody walking and events happening with a bit of performance with it which is a classic convention of that genre.
Me, Az, and Andy seem to have found a song (Dykeenies - Pick you up) which fits the video well. I think that the video idea suits an indie song very well. But i think ed still wants to have a look at other possible songs to see if there is any other song which goes better.
Basically if you have any ideas what else could happen or would like to expand on our initial idea, plz tell us!!!
